This video released in 2001, shows a desperate monk trying to deal with a book for the first time after calling for support from "medieval helpdesk".  The monk, having only worked with scrolls, is quite perplexed and fearful of this new "technology".  This video is hilarious whether you look at it from the point of view of the support person or the monk.
